Actually, I had done that - taken the list of original grievances and compared them to the abuses of today, but it became an extremely long piece to specifically name then and there are things they are doing to us today that I felt needed to be prioritized. I felt I needed to explain how/where each branch went wrong and veered from our Constitution and how the govt has become Marxist - the baby-boomers would be well versed in hating everything 'communist'. I couldn't 'update', as it were, the DoI without keeping our Constitution in mind. TJ didn't have that to fall back on.
I would welcome everyone's input - if they know of a way of a way to express the points more succinctly, that would be great. I had 13 pages of notes and ideas I edited down to 3, and even that may be too long for many people to read.
