1. You are correct that he has not suspended his campaign. But there's only 1 state that has voting/primaries/caucuses/conventions of any kind left, and that is Nebraska. There's just not anywhere close to enough left to make a difference.

2. Yes there is fluctuation in polls. There's quite a bit, in fact. Almost all polling companies are smart enough to know how much the demographics can affect the results, though, and when they do polling they speak to a very diverse set of people. Of course it's not perfect. But bad demographic samples aren't what made the difference between Romney and Paul in the primary polls. The gap is just many times larger than the sampling error could possibly be.

3. It's not official until the convention. But there is no suspense whatsoever regarding the outcome. The suspense might be in how large the gap is on the roll call vote. Falling below 1144 just isn't a remote possibility right now, given Romney's delegate strength. The only way he loses is if he drops out of the race. If Romney is in prison or in a coma or in a cemetery in late August, then he will not be the nominee. If not, then he will.

4. The Liberty Movement has made tons of progress and can continue to do so in the future. But it fell short in electing its Presidential candidate in 2012. It's nothing to be ashamed of. And on a side note (and I'm not referring to you in particular but just people here in general), the vitriol against the campaign is in my opinion way over the top. They tried their hardest and lost, and they accept that they can't get the nomination now. People have been hurling insults at many of these campaign members for several months, and I think it's very unfair. The more you guys eat your own and blame each other going forward, the tougher it's going to be to regroup and have success in the future. There's a difference between analyzing strategy weaknesses and calling people traitors. One is much more beneficial than the other.
