Customers often look at me as if I were mad. They'll snivel about the "outrageous" price of gasoline these days and I'll respond, "Tell you what, I'll give you a thirty-three per cent discount off the price from fifty years ago. In 1962 a gallon of gas would have cost you three silver dimes. I'll let you have a gallon today for TWO silver dimes." Still no takers, though.
