This topic is related to the healthcare debate. Many of us who seek to maintain our health by avoiding processed foods and non-organic, mass-farmed foods do not want to be forced to buy conventional medical care with the huge push of pharmaceutical companies behind it. Some of us look for natural cures and would seek holistic medical care--if we could find it--which would certainly not be covered by conventional medical insurance, much of which also works hand-in-glove with the pharmaceutical industry. This is a serious problem for those of us who would see conventional medical insurance as more of a threat to our health than no insurance at all. I know of no one representing our position in this argument.
