And here in Maine, the GOP has not even slowed their corrupt and coercive tactics. They brazenly put forward the Snowe clone (the guy who counts the votes and who worked for Olympia Snowe for ten years,) current Secretary of State, Charlie Summers, as "our candidate" in a 6-man race for the nomination to replace Snowe, and he supposedly got 29% to win going away when no one seriously even considered him a contender.

They admitted on the floor of the State Committee meeting I attended a couple weeks ago they would continue to hand pick all candidates for state office and support their RINOs over others who might run for the same seat...i.e. blatantly favoring some Republicans over other Republicans. They shot down an attempt to allow the State Committee to be involved in candidate recruitment, and decided to keep that TOTALLY IN CHARLIE WEBSTER'S HANDS.

Nothing has really changed in Maine other than that they know we can be a force to reckon with, and that they have to be even more clever when violating their own laws, excluding liberty candidates, etc..
