Before Roe v. Wade, there was no need for any kind of
federal regulation regarding abortion because abortion for the most part was illegal in all fifty states. Unfortunately, most pro-lifers don't remember or don't regard to know that simple fact. While it's true that because of the degeneration of morals and values in this country over the past 38 years that wouldn't be the case today were Roe to be overturned, it is in fact the best place to start. Let's get Roe v. Wade overturned first. Once that's done and pro-life majority states are able to legislate and experiment on what works best and what best method best protects life, then we can have a conversation on how to deal with abortion at the Constitutional level.
