The failure to recognize cause and effect.

In my hypothetical scenario, if I had not offered to pay the hit man to kill my wife (or otherwise incentivized or requested it), would the hit man have killed my wife? Not bloody likely. My offer to pay for her death was an initiation of violence against her. Anyone who fails to recognize that cause and effect relationship, and fails to hold the payer morally responsible (in part -- the hit man is also morally responsible) is being very stupid and/or immoral.

If paying off hit men to kill anyone who gets in my way is your idea of the "non-aggression principle" in action, then your version of the NAP is stupid/immoral.
