They don't call it old boy network for nothing

I didn't read it that "Life-liberty" was talking about the Liberty Movement, but establishment Republicans. It would appear that the Liberty Movement is comprised of people of all ages - also income levels, races, geographic areas, etc. Right here at the DP we're a microcosm of this diverse group. (Hey, it's clear from just the music people recommend. There's probably only ONE song we ALL like! I was going to say two, the other being the Star Spangled Banner, but even there, some like Madison Rising's version, others prefer Jimi Hendrix, and surely some couldn't relate to the electric guitar either way.) But there is no doubt that Obama/Democrats captured the "youth vote" in '08. Among those 18-29, the vote was split 66:32. (http://pewresearch.org/pubs/1023/exit-poll-analysis-2008) This time, a WHOLE HOST of college students were in the crowds of thousands to hear Ron Paul talk about liberty and... the Federal Reserve! Instead of embracing the new blood in the party, the GOP is fine with cutting off its nose to spite its face in order to keep the old boy network intact. Here's what I have to say to the GOP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p31PrDZjCeU

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
