still run as a 3rd party candidate and be on the ballot in November in all 50 states (if he isn't on the ballot in Tampa like we all know he should be, considering he controls 5 to 10 or more states -- if the truth be told)?
Would that work? This way just as many people and perhaps more would vote for him. Then we'd just need to verify the election proceedings and make sure the voting machines aren't reprogrammed--- perhaps by somehow having an independent party at least keep track of all votes made for Ron Paul. People could call in and give their name and their precinct where they voted or they could go to a website or something.
However, how would it work as far as the electoral college goes and delegates representing a 3rd party?
If it starts to look like they are going to disenfranchise the Ron Paul delegates at the RNC, could all the Ron Paul delegates at Tampa all decide then and there to become third party delegates? Would there have to be a 3rd Party convention to officially nominate Ron Paul?
I agree, we DEFINITELY need a plan B. 4 more years of Obama or Romney is just NOT acceptable.
