There have been no major changes to how things are done.
Many if not most of the people who caused these problems are still walking around doing mostly the same things.

You can be garunteed that things will get worse. Its a logical conclusion that if hardly anything has changed, why would the outcome change?

When will everything bad happen? Thats hard to say, but I predict we will limp along some before finally crashing. If things stay as is, I think in the next 10 years at the max is the time we have left before people are rudely awakened. I could see it happening in the next 6-12 months though.
