I'm sorry to ask (ignorant me): why is global warming bad?
I was just reading a book about dinosaurs to my children last night. It says that, hundreds of millions of years ago, it was... hot. Really hot.
Jungles. Swamps. Bogs. Lots of leafy plants. Strangely coinciding with excessive volcanism which is usually attributed to cooling, but this book insists it was hotter than now.
Lots of plants meant the great coal beds were laid down.
Lots of plants led to bigger and bigger animals to feed off them. Which led to bigger carnivores to feed off the giant plant eaters, who had to grow even bigger to outsize the carnivores.
Eating and eating and eating and eating! All while its really, really, hot and steamy.
So, to me, sounds like global warming means MORE FOOD for a growing global population.
And yet, these so-called experts seem to think we do our best in some kind of unholy ice age.
Methinks the global warming mitigation folk are closet-case genocidal maniacs...
At least, that's what I think after reading a children's book on dinosaurs.
"Cowards & idiots can come along for the ride but they gotta sit in the back seat!"
