it said this: "Benton said at the time that the congressman gave his ‘blessing to begin assembling the Victory organization Republicans will require to guarantee a win in the fall.”

That doesn't mention anywhere he's greenlighting the RNC for Romney or throwing his support behind Romney in any way, shape, or form. "The victory organization Republicans will require to guarantee a win in the fall." doesn't even MENTION Romney. Another way of looking at it could be that if Ron Paul wins the nomination, he would certainly want a "victory organization" in place to guarantee a win in the fall.

Just because Paul supporters are filing lawsuits against the RNC because of their scurrilous and illegal campaign tactics does not mean that we wouldn't prefer it if they were on our side instead of being a bunch of lowlife sleazebag fascist lawbreaking scum, ya know.
