Think about it. What would it accomplish?
This isn't 2007 where Dr. Paul was hardly a blip on the radar in primaries and can go hold his own counter-convention and boycott the Republican Party the way they've boycotted him. For one thing, if Paul endorses Johnson, any chance of getting Audit the Fed passed even if Republicans take back the Senate (which is the only way it's possible to get it to pass) would be gone because Republicans won't want anything to do with anything that has ROn Paul's name on it, especially if BO gets reelected after Paul endorsed anyone other than Mitt Romney.
If Mitt Romney can't bend his positions enough to please Dr. Paul and get his endorsement, Ron Paul will sit this election out.
