Comment: Great Post but,

I think the larger division is with people like myself that are big time supporters of Ron Paul that are proposing Gary Johnson be a Plan B in the event we are not able to overcome the skullduggery of the GoP and the RNC.

Your A and B positions are not far apart, the rift is looking anywhere else for a backup plan or more specifically giving Libertarian 3rd party enough support to make a wave in the current political process pending our inability to get Dr Paul in place to elect him President.

For my part, to extend this a bit, I am going to make a ton of noise and do what I can to help Dr Paul get the R Nomination. I get pelted here like a Paul supporter on a Glen Beck site (I have alot of experience in this too hehe) for having a plan B of looking at Gary Johnson if all else fails.

Ron Paul 2012! (I may change that after August though if things don't go our way)
