Hi bear!

When you write...

"Were you involuntarily baptized as an infant into a church?"

... it comes across like something abusive on the part of that infant's parents. (I realize, however, that your intent may have been different.) While I know that Baptists doctrinally disagree with infant baptism, I also know that many Christian parents have their infants baptized as part of a sincere attempt to "bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4 KJV); I am one of these parents. Do you believe that infant baptism is actually harmful to the baby's spiritual well-being? Thank you, lady patriot.

P.S.: I would affirm that baptizing an infant without parental permission, or even against parental wishes, would be wrongful and without legitimate authority. Sadly, history does record instances of such baptisms being performed.
