Use of the term "Hollywood

Use of the term "Hollywood liberal" could also be construed as an example of collectivism as a means of demeaning and insulting others.

Here's a question for everyone, though. What about when you, I or Ron Paul call members of the GOP "Neo-Cons"? As I recall, the term neo-conservative was not a self-selected descriptor, it was an insult coined by the Socialist Michael Harrington (I looked up that last part)...

So, isn't use of the term "Neo-Con" an example of collectivist thinking or labeling individuals as a group of likeminded people in an effort to diminish them? I believe so. If it applies in one instance, it applies in all instances.
