Comment: Big T was banned?
Big T was banned?
I saw his name crossed out in one post but didn't know that meant he was banned. That doesn't make sense. He had his view but my recollection is that it was always expressed eloquently and directly on point. I rather enjoyed his forthright manner. I am disappointed that he was banned.
zsh-ninja I do recall but not his comments specifically. Still they couldn't have been so bad or I would remember them.
If Evil Warlord is tolerated, and I believe he should be, when he is proud of being the "king of trolls" and is often quite objectionable and rude then it makes no sense to ban Big T and zsh ninja.
I can think of many who attacked the Super Brochure quite viciously who if anyone should have been banned or at least warned off they should have been since it was deliberate sabotage of an excellent grassroots effort rather than simply difference of opinion on some subject. Big T as I recall was a defender of the SB in those very difficult circumstances. As was Dr. K. who has also come in for a barrage of negativity from some members who are still around even after accusing him with no foundation of almost criminal activity. After all he has done for the election efforts?
How about all those who attacked the official campaign with unseemly allegations of impropriety and all kinds of speculation and calumny? It went on and on and on and it was always the same people doing it? Once again these were destructive comments that impair the ability of the community to function as a support group for Dr. Paul.
I believe the ultimate responsibility for banning rests with Michael Nystrom and since it is his website, notwithstanding that it is financially supported by many of the members, he is within his rights to set the rules and the sanctions for not following them. In that case it is probable that anyone who has been banned has been warned and then banned for breaking the rules of the DP.
It would nevertheless be useful to have a list of those banned, the reason for banning and the procedures followed in the exercise of this sanction.
