Perhaps you misunderstand why some support Ron and why some are becoming former supporters.
I found Paul completely electrifying in 2007 and became a supporter then. When the campaign threw in the towel early in 2008, I was terribly disappointed but kept on. Now, I've been a Libertarian most of my voting life, so you must understand that if at any point it becomes evident that either Ron definitely won't get the nomination he loses supporters. For many, this has already happened. The camp's statement that there is no way they can win because they haven't got the numbers is pretty convincing. THEY ABOVE ALL OTHERS should know.
So face it, every candidate is always under attack. It is up to them to demonstrate they can rise above the attacks, because the attacks will not stop...ever.
