Massacre to influence public opinion, really?

You don't think that there is enough violence in the United States for the powers that be to use as justification for gun control? The gun/weapons control debate started long before this massacre and it will continue long after the next massacre. Surely you don't think the shootings at Virginia Tech and Columbine were "false flag" activity, right? Show me evidence that this shooting is different than those two in a significant fashion! The only anomaly I see is that there might be another person or persons involved that is not currently in police custody.
