I'm disappointed but not surprised
One of the things that I am starting to notice about Rand Paul is he is acting like some little prep. His father was a Doctor which that in itself is not an instant qualifier but then we have his dad as a Congressman which could have skewed his reality just a little.
I'm sure he was babied and pampered and coddled to very large part but even going further than that, his teachers were probably accommodating to him when he was in class. If we look at Rand Paul's college years, we can see the makings of a young prep. Some of his Fraternity escapades show us an insight of his inner thinking. Now do I blame Rand for not relating to the liberty movement and by in large feeling that he is superior to many of us? No, of course not, he lived in a different world than you or me, or should I say most people.
But I do believe this story and all I can do is stop supporting Rand financially anymore. Did I send his campaign money? Yes, like an idiot, I thought Rand was going to be like his father but I am starting to see that this young Buck believes he is just a tad smarter than his old man. I don't hold it against him, hell my 5 year old thinks she is smarter than her daddy but that doesn't mean that she is.
Rand should be ashamed of himself and like many of you, I wanted him to pick up his daddies torch and carry the flame of freedom across the line, I guess I am starting to realize in my older age that if you want something done the way you want it, you better do it yourself. What I am saying is this, I don't need to rely on anyone to do anything for my freedom, I need to be busy doing it for myself.
