I would have been fine with the link. But now I have to rebut.
If you reread I Corinthians along with 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and most importantly Revelations 20:4-6 which says: "...Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Yahshua and for the word of Elohim, who had not worshiped the beast... And they lived and reigned with Messiah for the thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the FIRST RESURRECTION. Over such the second death has no power..."
Emphasis is mine but it clearly supports two distinct resurrections and Messiah was the first of the first fruits. Get out your study aids and research what "firstfruits" are in the Old Testament I think that will clarify a few things.
As far as Psalm 16 you are correct but the point is that Messiah is the only one who will not see decay. Because he was resurrected and changed. The rest of us will decay until he returns and we are also changed and called up to Him. The fact is that no one will be abandoned to the grave because all will be resurrected in due time and the grave will be thrown into the pit of fire.
John 3:16 is in a nutshell the reason and way to obtain the promise of the gospel, the Kingdom and life everlasting. Matt 24:14 Mark 1:14,15
Blessings to you. I will check out the link.
