Alex Jones and religious right, Ludwig von Mises repeatedly supported Malthus theory of overpopulation. Population can grow as long as essential resources remain and average productivity grows. There is a optimum number though. In times where economic stagnation linger over generation(s), people usually stop reproducing much (Russia 1990s, Japan 90-00's.) But in USA there were no new jobs since 2000 and population grows due to birth and immigration.... Add to the problem, Affirmative Action recipients, proportionally occupying working places, have set productivity downwards...
