Comment: Federal loans

I had a friend who was a farmer during the Carter administration was approved for one of these low interest gov't loans, obviously incredible foresight and responsible behavior by the feds, didn't put any restrictions on its usage. He applied for the highest most ridiculous amount he could get and poured it all into high return, at the time, CDs.

He bought a plane with the profits, calls it his "welfare" plane...
