Magistrates who say that because you don't agree with the king's philosophy then you may not get a business permit. Major city red neck mayors such as Rahm in Chicago and a number of aldermen will seek to not allow Chic-fil-A to establish a business in the city. So, is there a backlash? Yes there is, and it will continue when we elect these rulers who can't keep their hands out of the free market and we fail to understand the importance of private property. Individual character and rights are being violated when Chic-fil-A is denied a permit or have to make unreasonable concessions to receive one.
Let the visions and ideas of the business be up for denigration or praise in the free market of public discussions and conversations. Then let the support be there or not. This, to me, is free market working and the civil magistrate organizing the safe entrance of a business into a community.
