because it is arrogant.

This is obviously the Daily Paul. However, the topic of Gary Johnson will continue to be a legit topic all the way into November. What happens if GJ did win the Presidency? Are you going to wear earmuffs anytime you get into a political conversation for the next 8 years?

There are many people on this site that want to talk about Gary Johnson. These people aren't traitors. They aren't all new to Ron Paul and his message. They are people that love Ron Paul but are trying to do everything possible to ensure a victory for liberty this November.

The more people that talk about him positively the faster GJ will gain in the polls and have a chance at the debates. We only have about 5 weeks to accomplish this goal.

Ron Paul and Gary Johnson are two different men with two completely different backgrounds. Ron Paul is an academic and a philosopher that has communicated his ideals in his writings and speeches. Gary Johnson is a lifelong entrepreneur that has communicated his philosophy through his actions and the results of those actions. While GJ isn't as philosophically pure as RP ideologically, Johnson would be open to the arguments that he has yet to consider.

You don't have to be a well read academic to be a libertarian. If that were the case, most of you aren't real libertarians - maybe you have only applied libertarian thinking in your decision-making process - like Gary Johnson.

Ideologically speaking - If Ron Paul were to be elected, it would be like electing Thomas Jefferson. If Gary Johnson were elected, it would be like electing Ronald Reagan - although Johnson is better on most issues than Reagan, IMO.

I am in no way saying Reagan is a favorite of mine, either. However, ideologically, he would be much more sound than other choices.

If you plan to wait for another Ron Paul to come along before voting in the direction of liberty again, you will likely never be free in your lifetime.

Ron Paul is a loud voice among many other men that stand for liberty. He is not the only true fighter of liberty.

What would Ron Paul do in this situation - talk bad about Gary Johnson in an effort to prevent him from getting support?

What would Ron Paul's plan be for November if he were in your place and the name Ron Paul did not appear on the ballot?

Is Ron Paul going to write himself in - "ME OR NOTHING"? Is Ron Paul going to abstain from voting? Will Ron Paul vote for Mitt Romney? Will Ron Paul vote for Barack Obama? Or, will Ron Paul cast his vote for Gary Johnson is November?
