...with nomination comes 15 minutes. Rules, end of story.

If Ron Paul speaking were not a big deal, or the fact he is eligible for nomination, they would not be going through such extraordinary lengths to make people believe he is out, including the elaborate and coordinated Nebraska lie. They would have let the whole thing play out normally, confident that Romney will get it on the first ballot.
