Comment: I have read some of David Barton's works
I have read some of David Barton's works
Although I don't agree 100% with his political views, his books are intriguing and certainly call into question a lot of the "politically correct" history taught to us today. Notably, he often quotes primary documents in them. An example is his newest book "The Jefferson Lies". One of the topics in that book was Thomas Jefferson's alleged affair with Sally Hemings. He makes some very good points on it and much of what he sources to is readily available on the Monticello website.
