Forget Jesse Benton.

We know what we have to do. This changes nothing. It might even be a good thing. Let people think he has no interest in getting the nomination while the delegates quietly do what they have to do. The more attention we get, the more the establishment is going to fight back. I'm not quite sure it was necessary for Benton to come out and say anything, but maybe the campaign somehow knew that they needed to come out with another statement that would make everyone think, "Oh, nothing to see here, everybody!" Just like when RP said he was no longer campaigning.
