Last year Rand Paul said this about the Ryan budget plan:
"As I've said before, there is not much of a difference between a 1.5 trillion deficit and a $1.6 trillion deficit. Both will lead us to a debt crisis we may not recover from."
Doesn't sound like a vote of confidence for "taking on the pressing issues like the deficit". How can Rand sing praises to Ryan when he wants to lead us to "a debt crisis we may not recover from"?
It'll be a cold day in Hell before I'll support either of these stiffs.
What a farce.
