for any form of legalization of illegal immigrants currently living in the U.S. until the federal government secures the border. The welfare magnet isn't going away any time in the near future. Spread out 150,000 national guard and army troops on the Mexican border and 100,000 national guard and army troops on the Canadian border with orders to detain anyone entering the country illegally until they can be identified, and then promptly send them back across. Those that are detained and identified should not be allowed to enter the U.S. legally for ten years.

Then, once illegal immigration is brought to a halt, those currently living in the U.S. without a criminal record should be treated as if they just entered legally. In other words, they would have 90 days to obtain a visa or leave the country.
