How do you propose to stop the movement fracturing?

There is no natural successor that could project onto the national stage.
Judge Napolitano is the only one I could think of, that might be able to perform this role and unite.
But he does not appear to be interested in performing such a role.
There are a couple of long shot candidates.

And don't say to me - we don't need a leader we will do it ourselves.
Because I am sorry - that just is not going to happen.
Unless some kind of leadership is established after Ron, my fear is that the movement will wither on the vine.

There have already been contentious issues (e.g. Rand Paul and Jesse Benton).
But this is how movements like this are fractured by the powers that be.
Divide and conquer, sow dissension, distract and deflect.
Infiltrate the upper echelons.
Classic stuff to counter movements that are deemed to be against the current governments best interests.

There is a tsunami of economic woes about to hit America's shores from Europe.
They can take advantage of this by saying something like, the public safety needs more draconian laws, the economic crisis needs a strong leader.
The situation in America in 4 years time will not be dissimilar to how Hitler rose to power.
Have you thought about that?

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."
