I see your point, and I pretty much agree, although I feel when we hear information like this, rather than getting demoralized, it makes people, in our group at least, work that much harder to overcome these type of obstacles. I tried to be perfectly clear that this was a rumor, and has not been verified, but perhaps I could have done a better job explaining that.

I will be a guest at the RNC, and I will be reporting back what I see first hand. I'm not there now, so yes, this is second hand information, which was passed along as a rumor.

But the people I'm getting the info from are people I trust wholeheartedly. I've gone into battle with these people, and they are definitely good people.

Sharing information like this also allows for discussions and planning for how to deal with these type of shenanigans in my opinion.

I'll try to confirm this with evidence that is more substantial as the story develops.
