have to ask

JoeinMo - your about to get angry so look away...
I just don't get how Palin can get nominated on the first ballot but Ron Paul needs 5 states of plurality.
I read the post below and it says that you just need a plurality of 5 states to vote for you, but I thought you needed 5 states of plurality to nominate you to just be placed on the ballot so that people can vote for you.
So, am I hoping for all of the wrong things here? I'm hoping that RP gets on the ballot, Im hoping ME gets their way and that would make 5 states for RP. But clearly if Palin can get nominated on the 1st ballot
without her being on the ballot at all then RP can get nominated too, no matter what happens in Me...

Ok go ahead....yell at me.
