Remarkable story indeed.

I don't much like her association with The Catholic Worker, an openly communist publication/organization. The story didn't get into her economic/political views other than to imply that she might prefer more government spending on education, etc. Other than that I applaud her bravery and resolve.

I'm not for getting rid of all nuclear weapons. Yes, used in war they might destroy the Earth but used as tools they might also save the Earth from from an extinction event. They might someday divert an asteroid on a collision course with Earth.
