Rand gave one of the worst speeches that I have ever heard come out of the Liberty Movement. I listened to Condoleeza Rice's speech and she blew it out of the park. Unfortunately, I disagree with her on foreign policy. However, she did a great job of presenting her side. She was intelligent, states facts, stayed away from meaningless rhetoric, and emotionally showed her belief in what she was saying.
Rand was supposed to the voice of the Liberty Movement at the convention and he played it out as nothing more than a tool for Romney. Chanting, "we built it" made me want to throw up.
A terrible disappointment, Rand will never be a good leader if he continues to spew this kind of meaningless crap while refusing to take a side. That is the problem with Mitt and Obama, they often refuse to stand up and make their positions clear and known, rather speaking in rhetorical terms. This leads to confusion and distrust.
