Right, the sole thing we are supposed to do democratically

Is elect representatives.

Once elected those representatives are sworn to vote in accordance with the law of the republic and not merely democratically.

Maybe there should be punishment for violating the law, especially one representatives are specifically sworn to obey. We have punishment for everything else except for representatives violating the supreme law of the land?

Besides the fact that we ignorantly allowed counterfeiters to set up a counterfeiting operation and buy control of our government, maybe the one ingredient missing is there is no specific punishment for representatives in the constitution.
