I'm with you on this.

This week finally killed any hope I had of only having to deal with a partial collapse instead of a complete economic meltdown. The boomers and the old farts wearing the USS Missouri hats have elected to have the Greater Depression.

I've been preparing for disaster slowly since 2009, but I'm ready to ramp it up now. I was really hoping to avoid having to get a firearm as well, but here we are.

I recommend this as a resource for people who are interested in becoming more resilient to the coming chaos:

The guy who does it, Jack Spirko, does a great job of providing interesting content, and he's a Ron Paul supporter to boot.

Also, Chris Martenson's crash course (just do a web search for it) provides some great resources for preparing if you don't know where to start, including a quick test that you can take to show you what areas you probably need to address most.

The conclusion that I've reached this week is that the next phase of the R3VO_|ution might just involve sharing my stored rice, protein powder and multivitamins with my neighbors and their kids when things take a dive.
