I agree with you that members of the present GOP are not true republicans, like the DNC are no longer true democrats. Kennedy was a democrat,...hard to believe in this skewed reality that we are in. Ron Paul is the only true republican. The GOP does not like true republicans because they see their own hypocrisy, so they did what they did to Ron Paul to make themselves feel better living with their own hypocrisy.
Your argument is correct, but most of America doesn't know that the parties as well as the country has been taken over.
"Romney and his entourage are not Republicans. Boehner, Ryan and McConnell are also not Republicans. Most of the so-called Republican Congress are not Republicans. Except for Stossel and the Judge, there are no Republicans on Fox News."
In reference to your quote, I hesitate to go here, but with the present turmoil already on the DP, why not. You avoided Rand. Where does he fit in, in your opinion? ....a republican or in the GOP. Sorry to put you on the spot after your putting this story together. In dealing with absolutes, Ron Paul is the only true republican. Then, there are the others. Rand is 80% republican and 20% GOP, IMO. Is that a good enough percentage?
