State By State

I'm in California. Unless you're a GOP delegate/active member, there is no advantage to being registered GOP. Switching your registration is a clear message.

I switched from Democrat to Libertarian in the 1990's for that reason, and it changed my life. My local LP chair contacted me and invited me to be a delegate to the state convention; contrast that with the GOP.

Ron Paul is correct: do what you want to do. If you can't stand the GOP, don't burn out, just get out, and do something else. If your area has dedicated supporters and you stand a chance to take it over, and you enjoy the process, stay in.

It doesn't hurt for the GOP to see the consequences of each of these results.

What do you think?
