Is it not true that if a child is given a computer and access to pornography it the parents fault? Excuses are a dime a dozen, but putting blame where it should rest is a way to resolve the real issue and not attacking the object or act, in this case pornography. It is a fact that those that view porn are no more likely to commit a sex crime, it is mostly those who were punished for their sexuality as a child, this is basic psychology and a fact you can check for yourself, if you can get beyond understanding human nature versus what religion teaches us "should be" human nature.

I didn't "blame" the priests for raping the children, they did in "fact" rape the children, my statement was perhaps were they not repressed sexually by not being allowed to experience humanity at it's purest (i.e. sexual contact with a female) they might not have targeted the weakest among us, it sounds like perhaps you are defending their actions, which I would never do. So to clarify it is not the church and the family that is to blame, it is those entities within the church and family that suppress sexual progress with punishment that have brought us the greatest predators that prey on the weak, this is a fact you can research on your own if you are at all interested in the truth past your own opinion.
