Don't get so drawn into what you view as the moral high ground that you completely ignore your actions' effects on the REAL WORLD. Gary Johnson would have a legitimate shot at this if he hadn't somehow earned the unwarranted wrath of so many Paul supporters. If he won, this country would be better for it.
I think there's a LOT of people in the world who would make a better president than Obama or Romney, but I'm not going to pick a name of someone who is not running, has no interest in running, and has no chance at winning. It's illogical, no matter how much I want them to be president it is a futile action to write them in.
Not saying that's the case with Paul, make that up for yourself. I just hope you'll seriously think about what could actually potentially happen as a real-world result and not just as some statement or warped idea of morality.
