Go to a county GOP central comittee meeting. The Precinct comittee spots are there for the asking. Even if they were all full (which they won't be) if you showed interst there would be at least half the room ready to abdicate the moment anyone else shows interest int he position. When you get involved as a comitteeman you geta vote on who gets funds from the local party, you know who the good canidates are, and if you are somewhat reasonable you will be asked to run for office within a few years. Plus, most of the good ol'boy problems with the liberty movement is the outside takeover perception, most don't even know they are 95% in agreement. Most don't know what we are standing for, or why. They only know what others have told them about us, and it isn't good. To win this fight we've got to get in the ring.
