No what makes someone appear "kooky" is when instead of saying, "you know there are some serious problems with the official story and maybe there should be another investigation," they say, "it was an inside job by the secret NWO illuminate reptoids." It's the filling in of official story holes with completely unsubstantiated claims that makes someone appear "kooky."
Then these same self-proclaimed "skeptics," follow it up by making assumptions about their intellectual opponents news watching habits; yet another unsubstantiated claim based on nothing more than their own distorted thoughts and feelings, not to mention a blatant two-fold fallacy of ad hominemism and generalization.
