If Israel really considered Iran a threat, it would have already bombed them long ago. Israel has had no reservations about taking unilateral against its regional rivals in the past.

The fact is that Iran poses no threat whatsoever to Israel, which is why Israel has done nothing but posture and try to outsource its imperialism to the U.S. government under the guise of "fighting terror" and a "preempting a nuclear threat." Israel would love for the U.S. government to eliminate another of its regional rivals, as it did Iraq in 2003.
