In this video from November 2007 (post Guy Falwkes Day, pre-Tea Party money bombs), Beck admitted that Ron Paul supporters epitomize the disenfranchisement felt by most American citizens, and were the one group "rallying to create a dramatic political shift."
At the same time, he implies that Paul supporters are a "fringe element" likely to engage in acts of domestic terrorism. He claims this is indicated by our violent rhetoric i.e. "Money bomb", "Revolution", Guy Falkes. Beck equates Guy Falwkes - and by extension Paul supporters - with Timothy Mcveigh. Note that this is the exact same tactic that would later be employed by the establishment "left" to slander the media-endorsed tea parties! He and his former-marxist friend enjoy tying us, and all libertarians, to "leftist radicals", "anarchists" "islamist radicals" and "islamofascists". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Rc4OJWH1nE
Of course after the election was over, Beck was given his own soapbox on FOX where he promptly co-opted our message and the symbols we had adopted, in order to dilute the movement and corral it into something the media and establishment politicians could have some control over. They largely suceeded with the less informed, but not with Paul supporters - which is exactly why Beck has "had it up to here" with us.
