Comment: Ron Paul wasn't running to win
Ron Paul wasn't running to win
It was a campaign to spread the liberty message -- and it was very successful in that regard. But RP knew, and many of us knew all along that "they" would never let him win. I think participation is important: educating others (anyone who will listen) on the Fed and so many other issues, and perhaps also activism in the nullification movement which I think would be far more effective than continuing to waste time, energy and resources on presidential campaigns/voting for really great people who will never be allowed to win. You know the saying "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..." Well, I've been fooled like 4 times (I've worked actively on and donated to presidential candidates 4 times), so that's 3x shame on me and I've finally learned my lesson. I respect your choice to vote and push others to do so. Please respect my choice to not vote and push others to not do so. :-)
