Barrett wont be selling .50BMG to an California law enforcement agencies you say!!?
Does that mean the SWAT or any other law enforcement agencies need start practicing with bows and arrows for long distance kills?!
Does it also mean that agencies will be saving taxpayer money for rifles not used all year long?
How about the fact that the agencies can easily turn to other vendors for cheaper and yet powerful rifles like a tactical 308?
Or the fact that agencies do not make a request for new sniper rifles every year making .50 BMG that much more irrelevant.
All jokes aside, while it is a good gesture, it's also a lot of hot air by the CEO. Now, if Barrett said no law enforcement agencies in the U.S. will be allowed to do business with them unless California repeal its law, now that would be awesome.
