I never said not to hate. You can and should hate evil...
We just need to be careful to separate our hatred for evil deeds from hating the evildoer. Think of them the way they are, as slaves to the devil. He has them on his puppet strings and one day, unless they repent, they will live with him forever in hell.
People have been brainwashed for decades that the worst thing anyone can do is to "hate." The problem is the folks espousing this doctrine are usually the biggest haters. Hate, when directed at the correct things, is healthy. Hate evil, not evil people who Jesus shed blood for if they will but repent.
Last, keep in mind, that not one of us is without sin and that ALL sin demands blood to be remitted... Focus on getting free and clean from your own sin and go forward!
