Isn't this the same letter Republicans mailed out in 1993, that was practically the preamble to the "Contract With America"?

Whats next, a "if elected" list of 10 liberty issues Republicans promise to bring to the floor for a vote within the first 100 days of Congress?

Let's recap some history so we don't fail to learn from it.
1992 Ross Perot received 19% of the vote for President most of which came from Republican voters upset with the way neo-cons were running things, and wanted "reform". Many regained their committee seats that were taken over by neo-cons.

Lured back by hopes of party reform and the "Contract With America", party reformers helped sweep Republicans into office in 1994, and in doing so gained more committee seats. Things couldn't be more promising looking toward 1996.

The new Republican Congress was no sooner called to session when the purging began. Between 1994 and 1996 the neo-con establishment had many reformers purged from their committees , in some cases entire committees were simply de-certified and replaced by committees loyal to the party establishment, just in time to nominate Bob Dole.

Let's be careful not to get fooled again.
