Like normal, they have it backward.
The RNC cut national funding to the Nevada GOP and diverted it instead to "Team Nevada" after Paul supporters took over the state GOP; This column failed to mention that crucial fact. Who are the vengeful ones here? The RNC elite lose, so they cut off the money and establish an erzatz party organization to control the funding. Who is to blame for the disarray? It was the RNC that decided it would not cooperate with the new Nevada party leadership. Now, with its funding cut, the Nevada GOP is accused by the RNC of not doing anything to aid its candidates when it was the RNC that withdrew the resources.
Their borrow, spend, bribe, and bomb approach to politics is quickly losing its appeal. If the GOP goes the way of Whig party because it cannot adapt to a new reality, I can't say I am going to shed any tears over it.
